GETTING TO CORFU
Corfu has an international airport (CFU/Ioannis Kapodistrias airport) that receives flights from major Greek cities all year round. During early October, there are also regular flights from many European cities. This includes several low-cost airlines that may be a good option for those on a lower budget.
The airport is located about 3km away from Corfu Town. You can reach the town by public bus or taxi. The bus station is very close to the airport’s entrance. We will aim to provide links/further info re bus schedules near the conference time. Note that many hotels in the island provide their own airport shuttles at no additional charge.
You can also reach Corfu by ferry from Igoumenitsa. There are daily crossings, lasting approximately 1.5 hour.
