To subscribe for any IATUR event or conference, you need an IATUR user account. You will find a list of current events for which registration is open on the home page. Note that only IATUR members can register for IATUR conferences and events at discounted membership pricing. See below how to become a member.
Note that it might take up to 3 working days before your membership payment is processed and you are eligible to register at discounted pricing. IATUR also offers reduced conference and other event registration rates for members that are students, retired, or based in developing countries.
Your membership dues facilitate the information distribution in which IATUR engages, provision of financial support to some participants at conferences, IATUR publications, including the eIJTUR, and maintaining the connected network at the heart of the time use data collection and research community. We are in process of developing other services that will be available only to people whose dues payments are up-to-date.
Log on to this website to become a member. You will find this option under Profile, there you click on Membership. If you don't have a user account, please register first. A standard membership fee costs €50. IATUR now offers a discounted annual membership renewal rate to people who keep their membership dues current over consecutive years (€40 for the first 5 consecutive years of standard membership). If you pay for membership this year, you automatically will be invited to renew you membership at this discounted rate next year.
IATUR offers a reduced membership fee for students, people who have retired from full-time employment, and people based in a developing country. To see the criteria for eligibility for these reductions, select this option in your Profile under the Billing tab. If you meet these criteria, please upload evidence of your eligibility. You will be notified by e-mail if your request for this reduction is approved. This reduction only applies after you receive this confirmation e-mail. Please do not pay for your membership before you have received this e-mail. We normally take up to 3 working days to process requests. In August, requests may take longer to process.
