The Barcelona Time Use Initiative for a Healthy Society organises annually a week dedicated to raise awareness and discuss the importance of time on our daily lives and for public policies. The 2021 Time Use Week will take place during IATUR's conference. The previous days, we will have the following activities:

  • Monday, 25 October. Conversations within the Future of Europe framework. A series of discussions on how to approach key policy issues related to time use. At least we will have discussions on the Future of Work and the need to end Daylight Saving Time.
  • Tuesday, 26 October. A summit of European municipalities to discuss how time policies can be implemented at the local level. It will include the presentation of a report on good practices and a networking session.
  • Weekend (30-31 October). We are organising cultural activities around time, a broader discussion on how time is approached from literature, art or cinema.

We will soon post further details about the activities that will take place during the week, to which you are welcome to attend.
